How to connect your Chromecast device to the StreamLocator network

This guide is only relevant for older Chromecast devices without a user interface. For Chromecast with Google TV, just connect to the StreamLocator Wi-Fi like you would on any other device.

Connect using Wi-Fi

Step 1:

Make sure your mobile device or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi as your Chromecast device.

Step 2:

Launch the Google Home app 

Step 3:

Select your Chromecast device from the list

Step 4:

In the top right corner, select Settings  -> Wi-Fi -> Forget this network

Step 5:

You’ll be taken back to your Home screen to setup the connection to the StreamLocator Wi-Fi network. Simply follow the steps on screen.

Connect using Ethernet (Wired) - Chromecast Ultra only

Simply follow the same steps only making sure to connect the cable directly from StreamLocator to your Chromecast Ultra.
