How to watch NHL on TSN without hockey blackouts

While the NHL and TSN make it hard to know where each game is blacked out. StreamLocator is here to simplify and help you get around these pesky blackouts.

With StreamLocator, all you need to do is select the desired TSN channel to watch (the one your game is being played on) and select it. Follow our instructions below to learn how:

Step 1:

Visit TSN's schedule page or check out the TSN app to find the game you are looking to watch and note the TSN channel it is being played on (TSN 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5)

Step 2:

Once we find the game we are looking for we will need to choose that TSN channel in our StreamLocator settings.

To do so, simply visit my.streamlocator.com and select the corresponding TSN channel from the TSN drop-down selector.

For example: The game we want to watch is being played on TSN 3. We will need to select TSN 3 / Winnipeg in the drop-down to be able to watch that game without blackouts.

  • For TSN 3 - Select TSN 3 / Winnipeg
  • For TSN 4 - Select TSN 4 / Toronto

Step 3:

After switching over to the correct TSN channel selection, make sure the device you are watching on (your Smart TV, Apple TV, Fire Stick, Roku, etc.) is connected to the StreamLocator Wi-Fi network.

Step 4:

Launch the TSN app on the device, select the game you are looking to watch and enjoy blackout free hockey!
