What to do if streaming isn't working

So you open up your favorite streaming service and it does not seem to work, what can you do?  Below we will cover a few quick steps to get you back on track.

Refresh the page

This would always be the first thing to attempt and normally will be sufficient to get you back to streaming. Just click on that little refresh icon on the toolbar or press F5 on PC or Cmd+R on Mac

Close the tab and reopen it

This one is exactly as it sounds, simply close the tab you have opened for whatever service you are trying to watch by clicking on the little X and then visit the same page once more.

Restart the browser

The next step to try would be to completely restart your browser,  so just close the browser down, relaunch it and then try visiting the streaming service's page again.

Clear the Cache

If none of the above steps have worked for you it is now time to clear the cache on Chrome, To do this :

  1. Press the keys Ctrl+Shift+Delete on PC or Cmd+Shift+Delete on Mac. Be sure you press all the keys at once. A new window should open up.
  2. Check the box in front of "Cookies and Site Data" and "Images and Files in Cache".
  3. Make sure to select "All Time" in the drop-down menu like highlighted below.
  4. Submit your selection by clicking the "Clear" button.
  5. Refresh the page.
