Do I need the StreamLocator app or DNS if I have the StreamLocator router?

The StreamLocator app/DNS is a standalone service and is not intended for use with the router. With the router, you can watch on any device by launching the streaming app directly or via a browser. But like any home router, you are restricted to being within the home.

While you are welcome to use our app/DNS if you wish to use the service on the go, it is a separate subscription to the router. You can get a free trial for the app/DNS here if you wish.
