Create a US Amazon.com Account

If you don't have a US Amazon account yet and you are planning to use any US based streaming services such as HBO, Hulu, Sling, Amazon Prime etc... you need to create a new US Amazon account.

Creating the account is easy, takes 2 minutes and does not require adding a payment method.

To create your new US Amazon.com account follow these steps:

1.  Click here to open a new Amazon account. Fill out the form and select the "Create your Amazon account" button.  

Step 2: 

Your Amazon account will be ready to use. You may now connect your Fire TV Stick to your TV and turn it on. 

Step 3:

If this is your first time using your Fire TV Stick, you will be guided through setting up your device. When prompted, enter your new US Amazon account. If you have already  setup  your device with a different Amazon account, you can learn how to switch to your US Amazon account here.

Note: If you ordered your Fire TV without selecting “this is a gift” at checkout, your device is pre-registered with the account you purchased it with. You will need to switch Amazon accounts using the guide linked above.
