Sign Up for Amazon Prime to Access Over 10,000 Movies and TV Shows
Amazon Prime has a huge amount of movies and television shows with an amazing selection of original content.
Follow this guide to learn how to access Amazon Prime on your Fire TV with StreamLocator.
This guide will require a US Amazon account and a valid credit card linked to your account. If you don't have an account yet, don't worry! You can learn how to create a US Amazon account here.
Note: When adding a payment method - for Prime Video, or other paid Amazon Channels and apps such as HBO and Hulu you'll need a US issued card. You can also convert your own credit card's billing address to a US billing address. You can learn how to do so here.
Step 1:
Using any web browser, navigate to Amazon Prime's free trial page by clicking this link. Choose between "Prime monthly" or "Prime annual" by clicking either option, and select the "START YOUR 30-DAY FREE TRIAL" button.
Step 2:
If you are not already signed in, you will be asked to do so before continuing. Enter your information and select the "Sign In" button.
Step 3:
Your default payment method and billing address will appear. If you have not setup a payment method, you will be asked to do so before continuing. Once you're satisfied with your payment method and billing address selection, click the "Start your 30-day free trial".
Step 4:
You will now be subscribed to Amazon Prime. You will have a 30-day free trial, followed by a $12.99 USD monthly charge or a $119.00 annual charge if you do not cancel your subscription. Head over to your Fire TV stick, ensure StreamLocator is running, and open the pre-installed "Prime Video" app to begin enjoying Amazon Prime's content.
