How to set up StreamLocator DNS on MacOS

Download the StreamLocator config file
- Click here to download.
- The file (sl.mobileconfig) will download, most likely to your Downloads folder.
Install the DNS profile
Double-click the downloaded file. You should see this notification pop up:
Open System Preferences → Click Profile Downloaded (or go to General → Device Management if you don't see it).
- Double click on Encrypted DNS (DoH, DoT) → Click Install and approve.
Disable Private Relay
- Private Relay is Apple's own VPN. You'll most likely have it disabled by default, but some users don't.
- Go to System Settings → Your name (Apple ID) → iCloud → iCloud+ → Private Relay and make sure that Private Relay is disabled. If it isn't disabled, disable it now.
Restart your Mac to apply changes.
Press here to activate StreamLocator on your network. You can activate from any device connected to the same network as your Mac.

To return to default DNS settings:
- Go to Device Management, select the profile, and click the Minus (-) button.
