How to disable Eero 6 Advanced Security

If you are using an Eero 6 router and experiencing issues, you may need to disable the Advanced Security settings.

Step 1:

Launch the Eero app on your phone.

Step 2:

Select the Discover Tab, and then choose Eero Plus.

Step 3:

Toggle off Advanced Security, Ad Blocking, and any Content Filters enabled on any Profiles.

Step 4:

Restart the app and confirm that Eero Plus is now off.

This should be it. Power cycle your router, and afterwards, see if the issue still occurs.

Power cycling means unplugging from the wall power, waiting the full 30 seconds, and then powering back on.
