I cannot login to the StreamLocator dashboard with my Google or Amazon account

StreamLocator subscriptions purchased through Google and Amazon are managed entirely by Google or Amazon repectivly. This means that your account is not linked to a StreamLocator account and you won't be able to login or manage your account through our dashboard.


This also means you can only link other Android or Amazon devices to your StreamLocator account. Additionally, in order to use StreamLocator on Android or Amazon devices you must be logged in to the respective Google or Amazon account on that device for your subscription to be recognised.


If you want to use any kind of device with StreamLocator without restrictions we recommend signing up and purchasing your subscription directly through our website, instead of through Google or Amazon.


Cancel your existing Google/Amazon subscription:


Google subscriptions:

To cancel and potentially get a refund for your subscription from Google (depends on eligibility), please visit this link and follow Google's quick cancellation proccess.


Amazon subscriptions:

  • To cancel your subscription via Amazon, follow these steps:
    • Visit your Amazon marketplace (Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.de, etc.) and login to the Amazon account you Fire TV device is associated with.
    • Hover over Account & Lists at the top navigation menu.
    • Select Memberships & Subscriptions.
    • Next to StreamLocator, select Manage Subscription.
    • Then, under Advanced Controls, select Go to My App subscription settings.
    • On the next page, next to StreamLocator, select the Actions button and select Turn off auto-renewal.

Sign up directly through StreamLocator.com:

After your existing subscription ends, or is refunded by Google or Amazon:

  • Sign up directly with us to ensure that you can use the app on any supported device (Android TV, Android Mobile, and Fire TV) and also get access to our Smart DNS feature free of charge.
  • Once you are signed up, open any of our apps, find the activation code and link it to your account at account.streamlocator.com (bottom of the page)
