How to set up DNS on Apple TV

Important! - Ensure you restart the Apple TV after following this guide.

Alternatively, if you are looking to connect your Apple TV to the StreamLocator Hub, please refer to this brief guide instead.

Set the DNS address directly on the Apple TV:

  • Navigate to your Apple TV Settings via the Home screen. In the Settings section, proceed to General > Network.
  • Choose your connection type: WiFi for a wireless connection or Ethernet for a wired connection.
  • Next, scroll down to Configure DNS and switch it to Manual.
  • On the next page, enter our Primary DNS address, 66.33.68.1 and then click Done
  • Restart your Apple TV to apply changes.

Press here to activate StreamLocator on your network. You can activate from any device connected to the same network as your Apple TV.

Congratulations! You’re ready to stream.

IMPORTANT - When using StreamLocator, DNS switching locations and managing your subscription are done on account.streamlocator.com
