How to check if I'm streaming from the the right country

There are a few ways to check if Netflix relocation is in effect:

Certain devices (Fire TV, Android TV, Roku) can show you which country your in from the Netflix Settings. Simply launch the Netflix app and navigate to  Settings > Get Help > Member > Country/Language.

If you've chosen US Netflix you should see US / xx-XX. If you've chosen UK Netflix you should see UK / xx-XX. Same goes for any other Netflix country.

For other devices, like mobile apps and browsers we'll need to confirm by finding and playing titles only available in the country you chose. A few examples:

  • For Netflix Canada, search for the movie "The Predator (2018)" and play it.
  • For Netflix UK, search for the movie "The Peanut Butter Falcon (2019)" and play it.
  • For Netflix France, search for the movie "Artus – saignant à point (2015)" and play it.
  • For Netflix Brazil, search for the the movie "Amor Sertanejo (2020)" and play it.
  • For Netflix Germany, search for the the movie "Prince of Darkness (1987)" and play it.
  • For Netflix Korea, search for the movie "Road to Perdition (2002)" and play it.
