How to watch YouTube TV on Android TV

Step 1: Connect your Android TV to StreamLocator as per our guide here.

Step 2: Install YouTube TV on your Android TV

On your Android TV:

  1. Open the Google Play Store.
  2. Search for YouTube TV.
  3. Select the YouTube TV app.
  4. Install the app.

If YouTube TV does not appear in the Google Play Store, your Android TV app store region may not be set to a supported country. You will need to get a US Google Play Store account, or you can try grabbing it from our Unlinked store.

Step 3: Open YouTube TV

Once StreamLocator is active and the app is installed:

  1. Open the YouTube TV app.
  2. Sign in to your YouTube TV account.
  3. Try playing a channel.

Android TV does not require the same GPS location setup as an Android phone. As long as the Android TV is connected through StreamLocator, YouTube TV should use the network location.

Important note

For Android TV, no extra GPS location setup is required.

The main thing is to make sure the Android TV is connected via StreamLocator before opening YouTube TV, and while using it.
