How to use YouTube TV on a Web browser
Step 1: Connect your computer to StreamLocator.
You have a few options for this:
Step 2: Set up the location on your phone first
Before updating your YouTube TV location in the browser, make sure the GPS location on your phone is set up.
- On Android, we used Fake GPS Joystick, but you can use any spoofer you prefer.
- On iOS, use any GPS location app you prefer and follow its setup instructions.
Use these coordinates:

Once the location is set, start the GPS spoofing process.
Step 3: Open YouTube TV on your phone
After the GPS location is running:
- Open the YouTube TV app on your phone.
- Sign in to the same YouTube TV account.
- Allow YouTube TV to check your location if asked.
This helps update the location on your YouTube TV account before you complete the browser setup.
Step 4: Open YouTube TV in your browser
On your computer:
- Go to tv.youtube.com/welcome.
- Sign in to your YouTube TV account.
- Click your profile picture.
- Choose Settings.
- Click Area.
Step 5: Update your current playback area
Inside the Area section:
- Find Current Playback Area.
- Click Update.
- Choose Update Location.
- Select Update with Mobile.
Before completing this step, make sure the GPS location app on your phone is still running.
Step 6: Complete the mobile verification
Follow the instructions shown by YouTube TV to verify your area using your phone.
Once the mobile verification is complete, return to the browser and try playing YouTube TV again.
Important note
For browsers, the main steps are:
- StreamLocator handles the browser/network location.
- Your phone handles the location verification through Update with Mobile.
Make sure the GPS location app is running on your phone before choosing Update with Mobile in the browser.
